The College of Arts at Anderson University has a Department of Art and Design and a Department of Communication Arts. The Department of Art and Design offers foundation and graduate studies in studio art, graphic design and art education. About
Founded in 1918, Ball State University enrolls about 22,000 students a year. It is ranked a doctoral/research institution by the Carnegie Foundation and offers 170 bachelors, 94 masters and 17 doctoral degrees. The Department of Art offers 4 year degrees in various types of art including: painting; ceramics; drawing; glass (glass blowing, glass casting, fusing, slumping and cold-working); metalwork; jewellery art; photography; printmaking (intaglio, relief, serigraphy, lithography); sculpture (bronze, stone carving, wood); visual communications (graphic design); electronic art (animation and video/intermedia) and art history. A teaching major in visual arts (K-12) and a minor in art history are also available.

DePaux University, Greencastle

About
Established in 1837 by the Methodist church, DePauw University is a private, undergraduate College of Liberal Arts and School of Music. The Department of Art and Art History offers courses in Studio Arts, Art Education and History of Art. Majors and minors in Studio Arts offered are painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture (including public sculpture and kinetic sculpture), photography, video and digital art. Courses in the History of Art cover antiquities to medieval, Renaissance, Asian Art, baroque, gothic cathedral art, modern and contemporary art and theory. Graduates who have taken these courses go on to career fields in the area of practicing art, illustrators, art education, art historians and gallery or museum administrators.

Goshen was founded in 1894 with the mission to educate young people in a Christian environment. It offers 34 majors and 36 minors. The art department offers the following programs: Major and minor in Art, Minor in Graphic Design, Minor in Multimedia Communication, K-12 Visual Arts Teaching Certification and Minor in Multimedia Communication. University of Notre Dame, College of Arts & Letters, Notre Dame

About
Founded in 1842 the University of Notre Dame (ND) is organized into 4 undergraduate colleges. The Department of Art, Art History & Design is housed within the College of Arts & Letters. Degrees in Studio Art offered are Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and Master of Fine Arts (MFA). As part of the BFA degree, 5 courses are mandatory: drawing, figure drawing, 2D foundations, 3D foundations and photography. Two more courses can be taken according to the student's interest. A Bachelor of Arts /Master of Arts in Art History is also offered along with a BA/BFA/MA in Graphic or Industrial Design.

The College of Arts and Sciences at Indiana University offers 64 areas of study from the liberal arts and sciences, to literatures, languages, history and arts. As part of the College, the Henry Radford Hope School of Fine Arts at the University offers a range of programs for those wishing to develop professional skills in the field of fine art.
