Garvey
Ciara Garvey, the founder of Canvas art
gallery was on the project management team for artifact.ie, the online
gallery of contemporary Irish art launched by Arthouse, Temple Bar in
2000 - now administered by the Irish
Arts Review. During this time, Ciara became thoroughly acquainted
with visual arts in Ireland. She added to
this experience, in 2002, when working in sales and marketing for Bonz,
the largest commercial gallery in New Zealand.
