Stone Gallery - NOW CLOSED!

Founded in 2005, Stone Gallery is a new venue for contemporary Irish art. It displays a wide selection of Irish painting, prints, other 2D work and Irish sculpture by emerging as well as established artists. Operating out of purpose built premises combining planar glazing, strip mirrors and striking white interiors, the Gallery's focus is to provide an exhibition program for art-buyers and collectors, which is both exciting and accessible. Art prices typically range between 150 and 10,000 euros. The gallery’s main aim is to offer a medium for emerging, mid-career Irish and international visual artists creating 2D artworks, although work in other media is also included.

Its Gallery I exhibition program is enhanced by a series of publications and periodic talks by artists and curators. Meanwhile, Gallery II exhibits less commercial artwork by recent graduates or relatively unknown artists.
