Stronach GalleryFeaturing an unusual collection of art from many countries, in a beautiful remote Victorian House in Connemara, Galway, in the West of Ireland, Stronach Gallery, owned by Nicola Stronach and Jean-Pierre Maire, offers a collection of contemporary artworks by nternational as well as Irish artists. The gallery's collection has grown through visits to painters working in a variety of different countries, observing their studio works methods, understanding their artwork and building relationships. |

Irish and Russian Artists One of Stronach's unusual specialties is Russian art. The gallery represents a number of established artists from the former Soviet Union, including Alina Maksimenko, Serhiy Savchenko, Borys Buryak, Edward Belsky, Irakli Sutidze and Merab Abramishvili, whose paintings have shown in major galleries of their respective countries. In addition, Stronach works with Connacht artists, Selma McCormack Declan O'Connor, Rosemary Carr, and Rosie McGurran, and exhibits other Irish artists like: June Bennett, Padraig MacMiadhachain, Michael Bennett, Paul Wadsworth, Jemima Maxwell, Jim Sturgeon, Bridget Cox, Christine Milne, Frank Sanford, Colin Davis, Francis West, Kathleen Furey, John Kingerlee, Bea Last, Laureen Marchand, Mark O'Neill, Miles Balmford Sharp, Helen Tabor, and Rita Wobbe. |
