Green Art Gallery

Situated on the top floor of the St Stephen's Green Centre at the top of Grafton Street, the Green Gallery is perhaps Ireland's most popular retail art gallery. Its focus is to promote a broad range of contemporary visual art from both Irish and overseas artists. A comprehensive framing service is available on request.

Artists

The Green Gallery displays a wide variety of art styles and differently priced works from a range of emerging and established visual artists. Among the many artworks shown are: Ross Eccles' quirky acrylics and watercolours; Máire Flanagan's wonderful coastal landscapes; Peter Knuttel's renowned Wicklow landscapes; John Schwatschke's portraits; Norman Teeling's oil paintings of local street scenes and Georgian interiors; Lucia Cullinane's social scene paintings; and Andrius Kovelinas' exciting female figurative canvases. Other well known contemporary Irish artists include: Graham Knuttel, Jonathan Knuttel, Stephen Cullen, Alan Kenny, Niall O'Loughlin and Diarmuid Boyd.

Corporate Art Services

The Green Gallery's experience of the Irish art market and its resale policy attracts numerous corporate art investors as well as private art-collectors. According to the Gallery's website: "Most of our artists increase by an average of 12 percent per year. Over a six year period on average the value of the painting would double."

Special Resale Policy

The Green Gallery has an unusual resale policy. Any painting purchased from the Gallery will, if desired, be offered for resale on its website at a small commission of 14.5 percent (inclusive of costs).
